Perfectly situated with beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs. You can start your cliff walk just across the road or sit on a bench and watch the whales. The town centre is within walking distance. The breakfast is fantastic with everything you could gwant. The staff are friendly and your host will make you feel at home.

Great location, spacious room with wonderful view. Excellent breakfast. Spacious and well appointed lounges and dining room. Charmaine, the owner, was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Great stay at On The Cliff. We stayed in the ocean facing suite which was perfect. Great breakfast and hosts. We would return as we were very comfortable and loved its position close to the town and port.

Friendly, inviting reception by hostess with a knack for handling relations with 'strangers'. Most enjoyable breakfast. Walking distance from Hermanus old harbour. Lovely views of the sea and access to the sea-shore walk-way.

Perfect location, walking distance to Hermanus and next to a pleasant cliff walk. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Lovely owner. Tea and cakes provided in the afternoons. Great breakfast.

Location of property is very close to town with a lovely walk path leading all along the cliff. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were friendly. Good selection at breakfast. There is also a lovely afternoon tea treat.

Lovely property, just out of the centre of Hermanus, but a short and very beautiful walk into the town centre on the cliff path, which is directly outside the property. Our room (no 1) was spacious and clean, with sea views. The owners and staff very friendly and helpful. A fabulous breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

From the minute we arrived the staff were attentive and very helpful. Lucky greeted us with a big smile and assited us to our room and made us feel welcome by taking us around the guest house. He also organised tea for us during load shedding. The breakfast was great and quality of food really good. Very attentive staff and owner.
